Directions From Orange County:
Take the Riverside (91) Freeway
to Corona. Take Interstate 15 South through Temecula to
exit at Temecula Parkway/Highway 79 South LEFT (take
exit for Pechanga). Continue south on Highway 79 through Temecula for
approximately 30 miles (you will pass Vail Lake, Oak Grove, and little spots
like the Stage Coach Inn).
LEFT on Chihuahua Valley Road
drive approximately 6.5 miles to the dirt road entrance which will be straight
ahead as the road makes a sharp right. A Lost Valley sign is at the right of
the dirt road. Schoepe Scout Reservation awaits you at the end of an 10-mile
scenic journey along this unpaved road. The road speed limit of 15
mph is Strictly Enforced! However, please be courteous and pull over for
those who may know the road and wish to safely travel faster than you while
maintaining proper speed limits.
